Basic Bath Salts Recipes Frances Osborne Austin TX

Luxurious Bath Salts on a Budget to Enjoy or Give as Gifts!

You CAN make your own luxurious bath salts and create your own spa experience right in your own home! It is not necessary to pay those high prices any more (you know the stores I am talking about). Everything you need is readily available in your local grocery store.

I have included some basic salt bath recipes that can be made in about 15 minutes. They are super easy to make. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, the essential oils and colorings can be omitted if desired.

Essential oils and other bath salt fragrances can be purchased at neighborhood Whole Foods Market stores, Sally Beauty Supply stores and also numerous on-line web stores. You can also use fragrances found in your kitchen such as extracts of vanilla, lemon, orange or cinnamon. My personal favorites are lavender, lemongrass, rose, grapefruit, peppermint, green tea and chamomile.

If you are giving your bath salts as gifts, you can make decorative labels listing ingredients and directions and tie with a pretty ribbon!
